Love bolted 52 yards for a touchdown on Stanford's first play of the second quarter, rumbling through a number of would-be-tacklers for his nation-leading 10th straight game with a score. It was his 10th consecutive game with a rush of 50 yards or more, a feat which no one else has accomplished over at least the past 20 years. Love's 9.6 yards/rush ranks first among Heisman-winning running backs through eight games played, and he maintained his reign as the national rushing yards leader for Power 5 running backs.
